What optional analytics measures
With your permission, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page views, project-card clicks, and broad Field Notes actions such as opening a helper, filtering, sorting, searching, choosing a snapshot, or requesting a copied link. We send only fixed project or action labels. We do not send search text, helper names, roster or account IDs, snapshot details, query strings, or URL hashes. Advertising storage, personalization, and Google Signals are disabled.
Google may process browser and device information and approximate location under its privacy policy. Analytics measures only visitors who opt in. Choosing “No thanks” stops measurement and clears analytics cookies this site can access.
Local preferences and public Field Notes
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser. Clearing browser site data removes it. Field Notes displays a public collection; its names, stats, and saved snapshots remain accessible as described in the project story. Optional analytics does not control that public collection.
Hosting
Hosting providers receive page and asset requests and may keep necessary operational logs. Browsing this site requires no Google account.
